Down for the countI’ll admit it – I’ve been down for the count the last four days. Sure my illness will go away. Yet, all my plans have been knocked down. Blog posts weren’t written. Material didn’t get generated.

The being down for the count affected many areas of life including work, home and personal. Sometimes I get frustrated because I miss out on something I’ve planned. Other times I feel like “yeah” I have an excuse not to do something.

Being down for the count means duties in our home change. Suddenly my daughter is providing care. My husband takes on some additional tasks.

Face it, things happen in life. We all have those times we are down for the count. It is a reality.

Today’s post is not about answers, rather I want to hear from you.

How do you handle those times you are down for the count?
