Did you catch Kat Fulton’s post on a drum circle with three special guests? Sometimes you don’t know who will show at a drum circle! No matter who is there keeping the drum circle fun, energized, and joy filled is a personal goal of mine!
I enjoy drumming with all ages – young to sage! Here are some resources for your drum circle.
How to/Training
For those with an interest in leading drum circles, I strongly encourage training. A few examples are Village Music Circle with Arthur Hull, Health Rhythms with Remo or one of Kalani’s offerings.
If travel is not an option, consider taking the Music Therapy Ed course ” Drum Circle Facilitation 101 with Christine Stevens, MSW, MT-BC”.

JoAnn – thanks for the awesome resources – some neat ideas at the ready to get things started!
Glad it is helpful, Leslie. Let me know if you have particular needs or interests and I’ll try to include them in future newsletters.
Thank you so much for these ideas! I’ve been strictly a World Music Drumming user and was looking for new ideas for an adult DD group. The Let’s Drum Lesson Plan will work great with them.
It is always feels good to find a resource that fits your need. Glad I could be of help.
