Spring is coming! Here are five great songs to sing with toddlers.
1. “Little Bird”

– this one children can tweet or shake canary sticks.

4. “Up & Down Umbrella”
5. Marching into Spring
Check out this song recently shared by board certified music therapist Rachel Rambach. I think it will become a go to song for many working with preschoolers.

I have used the song Little April Showers on CD from the Disney Bambi movie with preschoolers. A listening exercise that can also be background for creative movement. Wonderful recording that starts with a single drip drop, builds to heavy storm, and then subsides again. I invite them to listen, eyes closed, then get up and move and song progresses.
Wonderful idea, Peggy. The Disney movies have some great music.
