Barn in Rural Ontario, Canada.

During November & early December, I am sharing a farm theme in my intergenerational group. Living in a rural area, many of the assisted living residents have lived on a farm. Most of the children are familiar with farms. We are having a grand time. Here is some of the material we are using.

  • Barn Dance : Sing it to a modified version of “Turkey in the Straw“.
  • Farmyard Beat by Lindsey Craig read in rhythm.
  • Moo, Moo, Brown Cow, Have You Any Milk? by Phillis Gershator (Sung to “Baa, Baa Black Sheep”)

We also sang a variety of partner songs found on various websites.
