College teams have started playing. High school teams are ready to take the field. And, the marching bands are learning drill. That means fall is coming and it’s football season.
Whether you are a caregiver of a child or an older adult, football can be used to add a little fun to your regular activities. Consider decorating with pompoms and small football. Pompoms can also make arm exercises a lot of fun. Have various football toss games: the farthest, the best aim, best form.
Songs to sing
I’ve written some new word for “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”
Take me out to the football game. Take out to the crowd. We’ll watch them tackle, and pass and run. Join in a cheer and we’ll all have fun. We will root, root, root for a touchdown . Ten yard in four downs that the aim. Kick the ball through the through the goal. Hear the crowd roar at the football game.
