Music therapy is at its most basic level using music to improve the quality of people’s lives. We engage people in meaningful music experiences that are planned and based up on their assessed needs, interests, and abilities.
The ability to read music or play an instrument is not required for people to benefit from music therapy services.
You will find board certified music therapist working with many different populations and all ages. Music therapist complete a degree program and an internship before sitting for exams where we earn the privilege of being a board certified music therapist.
