What a cool story, Jason! Our daughter used to write notes to the tooth fairy. It was always a challenge for the tooth fairy to leave her a response.

We have the forgetful fairy at our house. She remembers to leave money about every other tooth. What’s funny is we (I mean, the tooth fairy) have gotten away with it by leaving notes of apology during her visits. “I am so sorry I missed your last tooth, there are lots of kids losing teeth this month” The kids now expect it and the surprise element of “will she visit this time” is actually fun for them. Who knew lazy parenting, er tooth-fairying, would pay off in the end?

Looking forward to using this today, JoAnn! I will be in a group, about 20 and it will be nice way to work on syllables and attending behaviors. Thanks! We can extend the activity a bit too, by adding a question “Who do You Love?” and having the child play his/her answer.
