Some books are created from children’s songs like “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.  Others lend themselves to adding songs – like Sr. Seuss’s “Many Colored Day”.   In an upcoming blog, I’ll share how I added instruments to “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” in a recent intergenerational group.

And, there are those that…well, see for yourself.

What are your favorite children’s books that are set to songs or can be set to song?  A few of my music therapy friends and I are compiling a list.  We’d love your thoughts.  Be sure and let us in on the tunes the stories use.
